Bio:
Since 1992 David has worked at HM Treasury, the Number 10 Policy Unit, and served as Paymaster General in the last Conservative Government. He has also previously served as the Shadow Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities & Skills, Shadow Secretary of State for Work & Pensions and for Trade & Industry. In May 2010, David was appointed Minister for Universities and Science and in June 2010 became a Privy Councillor.
