Bio:
Since Hugo's election he served in opposition as PPS to the Rt Hon Theresa May, MP, the then Chairman of the Conservative Party; an opposition Whip; Shadow Minister for the Arts; Shadow Minister for Culture and Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. Hugo has also been Chairman of the Conservative Middle East Council, Chairman of the All Party United Arab Emirates Group as well as serving as an officer of the All Party Oman Group and the All Party Lebanon Group. In May 2010 Hugo was appointed Minister of State for Northern Ireland. In December 2010 Hugo was appointed to the Privy Council.
