Bio:
John worked for two Government Ministers between 1996-7. During the 1997 campaign John campaigned for Michael Bates after which John joined the Strategy practice of a large management consultancy firm. While William Hague was leader Glen helped prepare Hague for PMQs and briefed the Shadow Cabinet on media appearances. In early 2004 John was a Deputy Director of the Conservative Research Department in the run up to the 2005 general election. He then became Director of the Department and set up the secretariat for the Policy Review that was established after David Cameron became Leader. John sits on the Defence and Arms Export Controls Select Committees.
