Bio:
Prior to being elected to Parliament Nicola had been a researcher with the Secretary of State for International Development, Andrew Mitchell MP. This led to a role advising the Conservative International Development team. Since then she has volunteered with a number of international aid projects and is currently the Vice Chair of the Conservative Party Human Rights Commission. In Parliament she is a member of the Home Affairs Select Committee, Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Women, Peace and Security and Vice Chairman of APPG Great Lakes.
